Kossak Music Studio Policy

For clarity of purpose, safety, and efficacy

Sign up Policy

Prospective students aged 5 and up are eligible for private lessons at the discretion of the Kossak Music Studio teaching staff. Student's parents or guardians, and students 18 years or older may sign up for a $20 consultation call to determine placement in the studio.
If accepted into the studio, the full cost of the consultation phone call will be deducted from the total cost of the introductory lesson.
Students or parents/guardians must have an account on the website to sign up for lessons or make alterations to lessons online.

Tuition Payment Policy

Tuition is due on the 15th of every month for the following month. For example, tuition for May is due on April 15th. There are no refunds for services rendered. An invoice will be provided automatically every month detailing all charges.
Lessons are provided weekly at a set time confirmed by the student or parent/guardian and Kossak Music Studios. Regular lesson times may be altered by contacting Kossak Music Studio but this is determined by availability. Times may be altered with 48 hours notice at the discretion and availability of Kossak Music Studios.
Should a student miss a scheduled lesson, they will be credited for one make-up lesson to be used within 30 days of the missed lesson. Only one lesson may be made up each month. Flexibility for scheduling the makeup lesson is dependent upon availability.
Kossak Music Studios uses Wix Payment Systems to collect monthly payments.
There is no credit given for student vacations, scheduled studio holidays, child illness, or closings due to emergencies, inclement weather, or acts of God.
If the school unexpectedly closes for more than 11 business days, refunds or credits will be provided for any additional days beyond the initial 11 business days of closure.
There will be a $10 fee charged for each tuition payment returned by the bank.

Package Payment Policy

Payment for all lesson packages is due at the time of purchase.
There are no refunds for packages or services rendered. Single lessons must be scheduled within 3 months from the date of purchase; packages of 5 lessons must be scheduled within 6 months from the date of purchase.
All lessons are made during business hours and by appointment. Flexibility for scheduling lessons is dependent upon availability.
All lessons must be scheduled with 48-hours notice.
A 48-hour notification is required to reschedule any lessons.
There is no credit given for student vacations, scheduled school holidays, child illness, or closings due to emergencies, inclement weather, or acts of God.

Teacher Sick Policy

In the event of your instructor being sick or suddenly unavailable during lesson time, a substitute instructor will be assigned to teach the lesson(s). The student's primary instructor will pass along notes to the substitute instructor before the lesson.
In the event of no instructor being available during lesson time, the school will close for the day. Students on the Tuition System will be given a makeup credit. Students on the Package System will be given a rescheduling credit.

Drop off & Pick Up Policy

Student’s parents or guardians of children under the age of 18 will be asked to provide a list of approved adults for student drop off & pick up or sign a waiver that allows the student to leave the property unattended.
Parents or guardians must provide relevant contact information of approved adults to Kossak Music Studio in the consent form.

Video Disclaimers

Kossak Music Studio does not authorize the uploading of any recorded media created in our studio to social media or the public internet. The materials produced here serve as learning aids exclusively for our students and are not intended for public consumption.
Kossak Music Studio video records all lessons which are then stored on a private server on the premises. Tapes are never released for any reason and are in place for safety reasons.
